Nicholas Co. Scott Co. Bath Co. And now GRC. Since the sixth grade let's not let that be forgotton :idunno:

Were all of these a change of address? One way or the other, it makes me feel bad for this kid. Has to be hard with academics and sports to make so many transitions. It may be unfortunate situations for the family or could be poor decision making by adults.

Why don't we all give this young lady a break and concentrate on the game instead of her personal life. It's none of our business how many times she has moved/changed schools or why it was done. That's what the KHSAA is for.

Wish it was that easy. I really do. It just grinds my gears not that we lost this game but under the circumstances that GRC may have been playing an ineligible player so until eithier A. I'm proven wrong by the Khsaa or whomever, in which I will openly admit to and express my applogies or B. The Khsaa finds proof of wrong doing and proper punishment be handed down. Once one of those two things happen I will put this to bed once and for all.

I'm my eyes this situation is no different that the whole DJ Jenkins Scott Co ordeal. And I'm pretty sure all on BGP knows how that turned out.

I dont think the issue here is whether or not she is eligible or not. I think the real issue will come down to tampering.

No you patted yourself on the back claiming to be an AD and offering no proof. Once again you offer nothing.

Not patting myself on the back about anything, just giving you some facts, call the KHSAA yourself and see if you get the answer I just gave you, then maybe it will be SOMETHING to you!!!

Just a little SOMETHING else for you that AD's know from the KHSAA handbook:

Case BL-6-7 At what point are the facts to be determined when a ruling is to be made in a Bylaw 6 case?

Determinations of whether a student shall be granted a waiver pursuant to this rule shall be based on the circumstances existing as of the date of enrollment at the new school.

I think you have a pending question that needs to be answered.

if it bothers you that much, send your complaint to the KHSAA and they will investigate if they deem it necessary. Until then, direct your anger at the coaches and administrations that are allowing this to happen, if there are shenanigans. The kid is hands off, imo.

As has been previously stated, the KHSAA is fully aware. They will probably do nothing, as is their usual custom, but they are aware.

If they do nothing or report nothing, does that mean it is/was all legit? I'm not too familiar with the KHSAA investigations, but are any/all of them posted publicly on their site or where do you find their final rulings?

Definitely does NOT mean all is legit...

If this is legit, then if Mason is lucky enough to beat St. Patrick in the District, then Andrew Sticklen is coming to Mason to help us in the Region! Maybe, Crawford or Maddox. Every kid should have the chance to play in the Class A State and at Rupp in the same season!

This whole thing still doesnt seem right or smell right. A few years ago it seemed like GRC got extra players from Fleming County, now it is Bath. I just dont see how you can be at one school one day and play for a different school a day or two later. It doesnt matter what the family circumstances are, that's just too quick a turnaround for the KHSAA to handle. If what Sumo is saying happens we will just have a free for all for players all season long.
