This is definitely a few bricks short of a full load. Lots of questions but very little answers. Like I said previousily I don't think anyone is questioning the transfer. Its the speed of it. If the kid in question was not enrolled at GRC Friday there is no possible way she was eligible to play any games last weekend. All signs point to this kid being enrolled at Bath Co. Friday. So if that's a fact in which im 80% sure it is then she was not able to play for GRC until Monday at the very earliest and that with a transfer getting through the KHSAA at record speed. That brings up two more FACTS 1. She played two games over the weekend and 2. she did so illegally. So if that is the case sanctions should be placed.

Now we all know we cant give out our reliable sources for if we do they will no longer become our sources. But mine are telling me that yes she was not enrolled at GRC and yes Bath Co. is extremely upset with this and Yes GRC coach was seen by multiple people at The ALL A state tournament taking in the game Bath Co was playing in sitting with the parents of the kid in question. Now I didn't see him with my own eyes, but that doent make it false just because I didn't see it. Granted the coach can go to any games he wants to across this state but with absolutely no interest in any of the games why be there at that game and have a player of that team he is there watching end up on his team a week later?? its too weird that all things fall into place at all the right times.

My dad always told me that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then its a duck. So I guess if the shoe fits..... :idunno:

May I ask what kind of relationship you have with the family? Maybe it will be able to validate some of what you are saying. I see. You edited that from your origional post. :idunno: if you have some concrete evidence to show please by all means share with the class.
well it appears my quote on post 123 got edited so it doesn't show that the original poster had some sort of relationship with the family. I was hoping that the poster could clear up some of this mess,, guess not.

So you are saying Duck Shoes?!?!?!?

Couple quick things, who said she wasn't enrolled on Friday? Secondly, she is still in 8th grade so she would not be registered at the High School but at the Middle School (Robert F. Campbell Middle School). So your source was not only wrong but VERY wrong.

BFD he was seen at the All "A" and taking with parents and players. That really should not be a relevant issue. As far as we know the transfer was already in motion and being approved.

FWIW I hope I am wrong and I hope every post is wrong but untill some sort of proof stating we are all wrong is brought to light the. The question will always be there. I am just one person I can quit posting about the whole issue but that won't keep it from going away. Hell I wasn't even aware there was an eligablity issue till the next day BGP had already blown up by then I was frustrated about a :poop: call. Was clueless to the other issue.

But 5:00 am comes early so we shall pick this debate up again tomorrow sometime. Goodnight all :thumb:

To answer the bolded questions. Yes Coach Graham was there. Second. false, yes he did have interest. He was not at just that game but the game before the Bath Co game and the game after. He went to support his long time friend and coach Troy Lee Thomas. The games before he was there to support both of their coaching staff as they are friend too. He went last year too. So this is nothing new. He spoke to over 150 people, but yet that is not mentioned. Now hopefully that will clear up that misinformation.

I didn't respond because while your overall point has some validity the boot camp thing is never going to happen.

The bigger issue: You do not "investigate" an official over a call unless it was non-subjective AND he clearly misapplied a rule.

That is not the case here.

Let's get facts down: Varsity game fee $70. Trevs: I'll go to Ft Campbell, Ft Knox or Ft Benning for a week anytime you wish, but you're coming with me ! I would suggest that this is a great format, as long as we make coaches, athletic directors, trainers and most importantly fans attend this week as well. We can then give out wrist bracelets and only those that passed the Boot Camp can attend the games....probably frees up a ton of bleacher space.

Went to support his good friend and wound up walking away with his best young player. SWEET!!!!

Please show proof that you cannot do this.

Used to be an AD, handled transfer papers all the time, KHSAA will not even TALK to you about eligibility until a student is enrolled in YOUR school system!!

So you got nothing. Check.

Do you people have lives? Or do you get excited getting on message boards and degrading a family simply because their daughter is a great player and transferred schools. Go eat another cheeseburger folks!

Well since of 6 of your 7 posts have been on this thread, do you have a life?

So you got nothing. Check.

Check what?? Just told you, talked to Darren Bilberry at the KHSAA, they do NOT speculate on rulings for eligibility, the student HAS to be enrolled in your school system, fill out the transfer papers, then they make a ruling!! Check that!!

Yes, I do... It involves much more that bashing a kid and family. I have no clue who the kid/family at hand is, but I can only imagine what kind of people are sitting on here doing the bashing. My guess is unemployed, diabetic, and taking my tax dollars....

Like setting up boot camps for people who run up and down blowing a whistle ?

No you patted yourself on the back claiming to be an AD and offering no proof. Once again you offer nothing.

Once again for those who claim "I know this", "I know that", "I am a former whatever" - show up what you know. Registration documents, KHSAA guidelines, something more that white noise chatter. Then let us debate its merits. If you have something that shows something wrong, then doom on GRC. If not, you can guess how that looks to others.
