Ok, yes some may go to Mexico. But they are working here, which means they are contributing to the local economy, both on the production and spending side.

I have a family member who has 8 Mexicans working for him. He pays for them to come here and when he pays them they each put a small amount into a grocery bill and the other large amount goes back to Mexico to feed and support their families.

Which I don't blame them. But they come and leave when they are supposed to and don't work illegally.

My problem is the undocumented workers and lazy illegals who only came here to get the benefits because they are lazy.

The Senate is part of Congress but they are not Congress. Congress as you stated is Senate + House of Representatives. Saying the Senate is Congress is like saying because 2 + 3 = 5 then 2 is 5.

My opinion? Actually it's fact. Even you posted that Congress is the Senate plus House of Representatives. You posted that.

 

Please show me where Congress = Senate and I'll show you a wrong equation.

Boy I hate to weigh in on this because I feel I might be a little rusty on the subject but this is what I found:

 

The Senate and House of Representatives are co-equal houses. However, there are some special powers granted to one chamber only. The Senate's advice and consent is required for presidential appointments to high-level executive and judicial positions, and for the ratification of treaties. Bills for raising revenue may only originate in the House of Representatives.
