The list goes on & on. Obviously this dude isn't going to walk into PBS and become a Pro Bowler in his first year, but he certainly appears to have the physical attributes of an NFL offensive lineman. I compare signing a CFL player in the offseason to signing a major league baseball player to a minor league deal. Very little risk but potentially very rewarding. I like it.

You are talking unknown college quantities and/or a troubled player vs. a guy that has been in the CFL for a few years. I am not upset the Bengals signed him, I am concerned about what it says about the Bengals.

He's a training camp body with a chance, no more no less. I think it says good job leaving all the stones unturned when trying to put your best 53 out there.

February 5, 201511 yr Author This dude played college football in Canada, and I cannot recall a single player selected in the NFL draft out of a Canadian school. He was with the Bengals for about a year in 2011/2012 and played in the CFL since, this guy is hardly an unknown.

February 8, 201511 yr With the size this guys has I'd say there are a number of teams that would have went out on a limb for him if the Bengals didn't. No reason to be concerned at all.
