Anyone heard any details yet on this job???

I was told they are interviewing as we speak. A name I hear rumor of having applied is Jeff Morris, the cousin of the Mayfield Morris family and a 2 time state champ and 4 runner up coach over a long career at Milan, TN

A decision should be made by end of the week. I expect an announcement to be made sometime next week. I've heard the same information as you Toothpick.

I expect to hear something out of McCracken Co this coming week. I think it comes down to a pair of locals, one long distant in state coach or a pair of out of state coaches.

Bob Sphire....

Heard the same thing yesterday.....think it will happen?

Bob Sphire....

He's got North Gwinnett rolling down here. That would be surprising to me to see him leave right now.

Bob Sphire's son plays football at Murray State.

Pretty impressive record for Sphire at North Gwinnett. He has a few top assistants with KY connections too.

Sphire is not going to McCracken County. Not even interviewing for it. A former assistant of Sphire's is interviewing though.

Shawn Jackson has been named head football coach at McCracken!!!

Confirmed. Here is the story on Coach Jackson. Best of luck to him. Glad to see McCracken taking a chance on somebody who has a record maybe less than stellar as a HC, including a couple of those years. Must have seen something in him for sure. Best of luck to them. Talent at Obion Central

Wow! They really went out of the box for this guy. Anyone have any idea how the connection was made?
