January 26, 201511 yr Actually the kid had already decommitted from TX, and have seen many reports that he was encouraged to look elsewhere as Charlie tries to sway Kyler Murray. Good get, but think it was Plan B for the kid. The OL from UConn is a 2 star that was committed UConn and who's offer sheet is less than impressive, UK and Pitt being the only other decent offers. Meanwhile OSU has moved on to 16 and 17, had a huge commit weekend in those classes. Jimmy is simply trying to fill practice roles right now, bodies in uniform. He has a lot of ground to make up.

Actually, to me it always was the best. No doubt. With Meyer going against Harbaugh, it will be more fun to watch again. IMO, it was starting to lose some of its luster for a while. That will change beginning this season.
