Then you haven't seen them bow out the last 2 years at the Regionals. I think the combination of the bigger floor and the lack of depth has done them in each time.

I'm with enman on this one Cov Cath by 4.

No! You're a NewCath guy! You cannot choose this!!

:)

Seriously, I have no idea who will win. I'm excited to bring my son to watch a good game. I am very interested to see Ruthsatz' initial game plan and then any adjustments he may make.

I heard LB was buying after the game??

My older son thinks NCC will win.

While my younger son only cares if he can bring a friend and have pretzel money.

Each team has 3 really nice offensive weapons: Drew/Pangallo/Weyer and CVH/Bo/Theobald. What % of total points do we see these 6 having? I'll say 80%.

Interesting matchups: I assume Bo will check Weyer and Romes will check Drew. Dont' discount Romes' D. He is very strong physically with long arms and good hops despite a height disadvantage.

Will Scott go in full deny mode on Pangallo?

CCH does not shoot well/consistently from 3. Not sure if that will get any better tomorrow in a big gym. The wider floor does help them offensively because they don't really have a true post player offensively. It gives them room to spread it out and penetrate.

Should be fun. Nothing would surprise me other than a blowout either way.

If NCC is as good as folks say then I have NCC by 12.

NCC is as good as folks say they are.

They were as good as folks said they were last year too.

Ruthsatz is as good as advertised too as a coach. He showed that to the state.

So, even if NCC loses, it does not mean they are not as good as advertised, because they are.

We'll just agree to disagree then.

NCC by 12. Think they will be outmatched inside. Pangallo vs CVH should be a good one.

I would imagine there will be a JV rematch in the Tourney finals. Should be a heck of a game.

I think you put this post in the wrong thread Jim......:lol2:

Still trying to figure the logic out here,,I guess that's what I get for dropping out of middle school..

Why do people think Newcath can't run or play in an uptempo setting?

I've seen a lot of different teams from around the state this year and Newcath is by far one of the best transition teams I've seen because of Pangallo's quickness, McDonald's passing, and Weyer's ability to handle the rock in the middle of a press.

One of Covcath's strengths is how many different defensive looks they can throw at a team because of their versaility, but the key for them to beat Newcath is simply not settling for a lot of jumpers that lead to long rebounds and easy transition points at the other end. The floor will have no effect on who wins or loses this game.

I would imagine there will be a JV rematch in the Tourney finals. Should be a heck of a game.

To many CCH/NCC threads going on at one time for me to keep straight.

I'm back BGP due to treatments I have not been able to attend many games. That being said, I think NCC will take this one.
