I would agree if it had been in the regional finals and the cumulative fatigue was in place. Poor foul shooting and shooting in general has doomed them the past 4 seasons. Not to mention, the 35th playing their district there gives Holmes and CovCath a huge advantage in the opening round. As long as they don't catch either in the 1st round of Regionals, this could be a very good year.

I look for NewCath to win this game by double digits. The Weyer kids game has grown by leaps and bounds from what it appears. May well be the best all around player on the floor tomorrow night.

NCC - senior leadership and a score to settle.

This is the year of the Horse.

Actually, it's the Chinese year of the Goat!

And we all know CovCath HS is the G.O.A.T.

Even so, NCC by 7.

Coach R. will however master a plan to turn the table come Regionals.

Hmm...Interesting well thought out point, and with last year being the actual Chinese "Year of the Horse", that ship had passed unrewarded, while the Goat's fortune was a year ahead of its time it would seem.

Something's off kilter here and needs adjusting to put things back in order, or life as we know it just has no meaning.

You are very welcome Lawnboy13...you are a good student.

...And Confucius also say:

"The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence".

"Success depends upon previous preparation, and without such preparation there is sure to be failure".

"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall".

NewCath is a mighty fine example of the words of which I speak.

Then you haven't seen them bow out the last 2 years at the Regionals. I think the combination of the bigger floor and the lack of depth has done them in each time.

I seriously doubt an extra 10 feet is that big of a difference. The past two years, poor shooting was their downfall.

When the legs go, the shot goes. You show me a tired team, and I'll show you a team unable to hit shots they normally do.

If this was a team that didn't condition all year long, then I say "your spot on". But the same thing was said last year, and the issue was not being tired. These guys are conditioned to run, run, and run some more.

One would have to be crazy to pick a team other than NCC, just like last season. Glad they play these games.
