I think this game has potential to be one of the better Class "A" games we've seen in a long while. I think the key for Paris is to let Garrard and Wells do work in the paint. Augusta needs to control the pace and limit turnovers.

I like Paris in this game, and maybe by about 10. Don't know why i feel that way. Just going on a hunch.

I see it as a close game decided by 5 or less. I'm sticking with my original pick in Augusta but wouldn't be surprised to see Paris prevail.

with that said if Augusta comes out flat like they did vs St. Pat then it could be a long night in Panther country. I don't see Coach Hinson letting that happen.

The Panthers will come prepared and execute so Paris will have to beat them if they want to advance. It depends upon which Paris team shows up and who wants this more IMO. Bellarmine plays both Thursday and Saturday so we won't be able to help cheer with the Panther faithful but I am hopeful that I'm missing the 1st ever Augusta Class A Region Championship this week...........:dancingpa

Whom ever wins this one will have their hand full with Brossart. Ive seen them twice so far and both times have impressed. Great shooting team. Hackworth cant miss lately...

Brossart also takes great care of the basketball for the most part. No super athletes on that team, but they scrap and play smart.

Hinson has the small squad rested, so my money says they are ready. They need the 3's to fall and Snapp has to be a warrior in the paint. If he gets in foul trouble or strays outside, Panthers could have a long night. Key to game could be some quality time from 6th and 7th players. This could be a very competitive game. Crawford is a warrior and needs to continue his great penetration game and their bombers need to follow their shots for the long rebounds. Hate it, but Paris 66-63 in overtime.
