I agree they could have taken a knee and maybe should have but calling them "classless jerks" because of it is a little much...

I'm not bitter. The better team won tonight. And, they also punched in an unnecessary touchdown when the game was already won. There's no way to rationalize it and there's no way to defend it.

I'm happy for my friends (like you) who get to celebrate a title tonight. Personally, I take a knee when the game is won.

How about Oregon man up and make a play? Have some pride and keep them out of the end zone? In a national title game?

This isn't your kid playing middle school hoops. Make a stop. Or get the score run up. Oregon has had zero problem running it up at every opportunity for a decade.

Just stop...

What a great game plan by Urban Meyer and staff. What execution in the last three games by the Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team !

This OSU "TEAM" lost early to a mediocre at best football team, were mocked, trashed by everyone including ESPN, CBS, FOXSports and every other news outlet, magazine, newspaper in the country.

YES, THE Ohio State Buckeyes along with their fans Deserve to crow.

I totally disagree with this line of thought. They were trying to make a stop. They weren't good enough to stop them. There's no reason to embarrass them by punching in another TD.

It's a difference of opinions but my mind isn't changing and neither is yours, so be it.

That's not how I would do things. Urban Meyer would so more power to him.

Oregon was still using timeouts. Game on. Loved the TD.

OSU picked up two 5 star recruits during the game and a 4 star earlier in the day. Great day to be a Buck!

They were just letting the clock run on those final plays, right? I didn't notice a timeout.

They had two left. How come Oregon didn't take a knee and walk off the field when they got the ball back? Game on. Play until there is 0:00 on the clock. That's what both teams did.

Ah, difference of opinions. Congrats OSU. The Buckeyes were the better team tonight.

I totally disagree with being soft. This is big time athletics. Be good enough or deal with a late TD to lose by 7 more points. Every kid on the Oregon roster has been part of late TDs to pour it on and make a statement. It went the other way this time. Life goes on. They'll manage to recover from that nasty final score that should ruin their lives... :lol2:

Winning with class is not being soft. It's a difference of opinions. I still love you though :thumb:

Hopefully the Wolverines can rebuild their program and make things interesting again.

Just to pass along some thoughts from Twitter:

Urban doesn’t take a knee. That is bush league. #OREvsOSU

"@DanHicksNBC: Really shocked Ohio St didn't take a knee. Classless" Chuck Noll once said there are no white flags in a football game. Deal
