2015 MLB Hall of Fame Class

If 4 get in I'm hoping it will be:

Pedro Martinez

Tim Raines

Randy Johnson

Mike Piazza

I don't think Raines gets in but he deserves it.

Biggio deserves it. After last years robbery, he has to get it this year

I'm for him getting in as well but Raines has to be running out of time. I'd really like to see Rock get in.

If Piazza doesn't get in, nail the doors shut to the hall. He's the greatest offensive catcher of all time.

If they let him in they have let Bonds and all the others in. Piazza was a known steroid abuser in baseball circles.

Really? That's the first I've heard of it.

Just saw this tidbit on Twitter:....Randy Johnson and Pedro Martinez never started against one another.

Wasn't that before they made those drugs illegal? Same with Biggio?

Pedro Martinez might be one of my favorite players ever. Always seemed like a great guy, but also produced awesome sound bites.

Now that matters? What was McGwire using before they became illegal? What was Sosa using before they became illegal? A logical argument can't be made to excuse certain people of PED use and not excuse others. Either let them all in or let none of them in. Either way, legal use or not, numbers were inflated because of non-natural means. It's either okay or it isn't. It can't be both just because it was or wasn't legal at one time.

Just asking a question, boss. I thought I had read that somewhere and was confirming. :bunny:

Never knew that. Thanks for the link.

I still vote him in.

I do as well. I'm pro-PEDs though. I think they all should be allowed in and I think it is highly hypocritical of the HoF voters to exclude them from the HoF when those same voters excused this behavior for about two decades. Plus the MLB was fun then. I only pay attention enough to draft a good fantasy team nowadays. That doesn't take much concentration.

If steroids didn't have the nasty side effects id be with this thinking. It was a lot more fun when you would see 50+ home runs a year fr multiple players. Now 30 is a big number. I do love a good 1-0 pitching duel, but a 6-7 slug fest was awesome too.
