What are the Bengals needs on offense?

Featured Replies

I think we are set at RB, we have talent and depth.

I think we are set at WR, we just had a lot of bad luck this year. Although with this said, Green concerns me moving forward, he is too fragile. When your own teammates make fun of you in a skit on Hard Knocks you know it is an issue. And I am not sure on the solution here but I certainly would listen to trade offers for Green.

I will let the rest of you jump in, I think we have needs at every other position on offense.

Anyone?

He can play tough guy sometimes and I wonder if he is just a little bit of a cheap shot artist (speculation). AJ is more like a tough girl than a NFL WR when it comes to health. Don't miss my point here, there are some very tough women walking this Earth, but ain't none of them going to be lining up in a NFL game.

Hellbird thinks they are good at QB for at least the next decade.

What do we do at QB? I call him Average Andy. QB is so complex in the NFL because there are not many good ones.

^Only guy I'd consider in this draft is Mannion from Oregon State.

Obviously Winston or Mariota would be nice, but realistically there's no way they can snag one of them.

I keep my eyes open for a good replacement, but I'm not sure who that would be either in the league or the upcoming draft.

I don't think the Bengals will ever be wildly successful with Dalton at QB...

We all know QB is a need. Probably a need that won't be addressed.

Beyond QB, what are the Bengals needs on offense?

I'm being to think if you are 6'2" (Dalton size) or smaller as a QB, you'd better be something special. The world is a whole lot different in the NFL than in college.

O-line and WR depth would be nice. I'm guessing they will draft around 20th?

I'd like Hewitt to concentrate on being a TE, drop Gresham, and get a true FB.

TE. Gresham makes too many mental mistakes, he is one of the top penalized Bengals players every year. They are also not deep at this position.

I'd argue, when healthy, that's probably one of their strongest positions. Eifert, Hewitt, and Brock.

I'm not positive they are as set at WR as some may believe. AJ is good, but after that they have a bunch of 3-4 receivers, IMO. Sanu would be their #2, but I'm not sold on him.

Marvin Jones is much better than Sanu. Assuming he's healthy next year, I think they're set with Green, Jones, Sanu, and Wright at the top 4.
