I know one year Highlands had at least 3 players in the game Dempsey, Head, Tony G.

There is an example of NKY representation in the past. I am not sure why there are not any players on this years roster.

Players, according to the site must be nominated by their coaches. May want to talk to your teams' coaches. I'm sure the KY staff/team needs and would love to have the NKY talent that dominated the playoffs this year in this game.

Interesting that they have a multiple guys who play basketball. I wonder on the availability of 2 of the Quarterbacks, Reese Ryan who plays basketball for the Knights and Clay McKee who is enrolling early at Georgetown College.

All the players selected were contacted by the committee and had to accept the nomination to play.

Last year Kentucky won over what seemed to be a much physically larger Tennessee team. It was sunny but muddy day as drenching storms went through overnight.

 

Venue is good and there was a good crowd on hand.

I heard

It is frustrating, how do the kids get on this team? Nominated? Do they look at film? Right off hand I see 3 kids from Scott County, seems as though they could spread it around.

 

I heard McKee is head coach.

I think Crider will play some at LB. If Coach McKee is the HC they probably will play the wing T. Cain, Beasley, Brooks and Crider at the wing position. Hatfield, Whitman and Addesa at FB. Just a guess..

If they go Wing T I think Locher from Owensboro can get up to speed if called upon - he ran the triple option.

I would say wing T based on the number of backs on the team.

There are a lot of politics in this game, some kids are on there based on who their daddy is and who he knows in the Nat Guard. I'm assuming Coach McKee gets to pick some and a committee picks some.
