The Beasley kid from North Oldham stole the show. Hatfield from Belfry was a monster and showed why he was one of the best overall players in the State. Even aganst a very talented All-Star team with a makeshift line he did exactly what you were used to seeing him do. Brooks and Reese Ryan both looked good. Connor John had a great game and was a well deserved Defensive MVP... Bryant Pirtle didnt look like much on the stat sheet but was a man amongst boys! Very impressive.

 

The Beasley kid hopefully played himself into a scholarship. No doubt in mind he could be a star at the FCS level.

Reese Ryan was 9/12 for 129 yards 2 TDs and an INT.

 

Gave an update on his recruitment. Sounded like he has a final 5 of Illinois, Akron, EKU, WKU, UK. He has offers from the 1st 3. I'd expect Western Kentucky to offer (if they haven't already) as he said that they were coming to visit him and he was going to take an official to Western. Reese said UK is still in contact and still an option.

 

Cameron Bailey from LexCath started and played all game at Center. He has an offer from West Virginia State and a preferred walk-on from Louisville. (If he has other options IDK).

 

Braxton Couch from LexCath played well at Safety from what I saw. I believe he is looking at Murray State and Centre.

 

From a non-LexCath standpoint I liked Tequann Claitt from Bryan Station, Bryan Pirtle from Desales, Aldwin Jackson from Seneca, Beasley from North Oldham, and Hatfield from Belfry.

I think the Offensive Line did a good job against an obviously bigger Tennessee D-Line. #99 was a beast but really only recall one sack , made some tackles but were 4 or 5 yards down field. Kentucky's line with Daff, Bailey, Ingle, Wilks, Austin, and the rest actually controlled the line. Most of the time QB's had time to throw, Hatfield was getting 5 yards a carry and scored from about 5 yards out standing up, Beasley was able to turn the corner and show unbelievable speed (boy was he fast), Brooks was getting yards inside and outside. But really, the overall make up of the Kentucky team you could tell the just jelled. I was there and I could really tell they enjoyed playing with each other. Like I saw someone say on social media they were respectful, showed manners and showed class.

Murray State, Cumberland, Upike, and Georgetown have all shown interest in Cameron Bailey and all have made some type of offer.

That LB Connor John kid is a heckuva player & he looks like he has the size & speed to play D1 as well, does he have any offers?? Someone will get a good one there, I was extremely impressed by him.

I read somewhere that he moved from Connecticut but was a highly ranked player up there and has just gotten lost in the shuffle with the move, but the kid can really play, that's obvious

Checkout Ram's Kentucky High School Football College Commitment List (2015) post, there hasn't been any new names updated on it in several days though, hopefully several of these kids in the game get some offers

I watched the game the Kentucky LB corp. was the strength of the team on defense. They complimented each other very well. The stat sheet has been posted on the website. David Mattingly from Male was the best QB of the three. He looked the best during practice. Not sure why he didn't get more snaps. Maybe because we ran the wing T (A lot) and spread more than the wishbone.

 

Not sure I agree that Pirtle was a man among boys. I personally thought Whittinghill played better and had better technique. Pirtle got a few late shots on the QB but he was sealed off inside too many times. But he will make a great LB at the next level.

 

Does Hatfield have any offers? I was very impressed with Johns as well. Should done well at the D1 (FCS) or D2 level.

Actually, I talked to a lot of these kids during the week. A lot of them just haven't committed and are making a lot of college visits in the next few weeks. Some already have offers but are still weighting their options.

Watching now and wanted to say #44 for Kentucky seems to be a stud.

No offers for Hatfield yet. Has received interest from some service academies and other schools but no offer. Kid will be well worth the offer for whoever does. Think he could be a 4 year starter at FB for a FCS school

The problem is the FB position is a forgotten position. Look at all the this and that lists. Most do not mention FB or TE. Not sure he is fast enough to play LB at the D1 FBS level. Not sure what is 40 is. He could help any D2-NAIA team.
