I'm assuming the other assistants were asked and didn't want the job. The administration and district have to go through a process to hire a new coach. Therefore, AD just didn't hand it to his son. You all should get the whole story before you start assuming.

Take it for what its worth, Sosby is an outstanding young coach. Coach Eades was a good coach as well, but stepped aside. Very unfortunate for kids, but couldn't ask for a better replacement. A Bourbon guy, who wants nothing more than to make them succesful. Time will tell. As for now, no reason to judge him on this season. Just wish him the best.

Can assure you that AD Tony Sosby is a class act from beginning to end. Wonderful man that has the kids first and foremost in all his actions. Whatever the reasons for Coach Eades departure, I feel certain it was handled professionally as it should. Likewise, the hiring of the new coach would have been handled ethically, sensitively and with the greatest concern for all constituents.
