Florida needs to have their playoffs on a neutral field, lots of "home cooking" in this one. Flanagans QB was called for intensional grounding in his own end zone, but the refs did not call it a safety. How is that not a safety?

 

Columbus had the ball on the Flanagan 25 and up comes a phantom unsportsmanlike 15 yard penalty to take them out of field goal range, they ended up punting.

Apopka was winning big early in their game, so I'll assume they won. The game will be played in Orlando as far as I know.

The 5A, 6A, 7A, and 8A finals are at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, next week.

 

That's practically a home game for Apopka.

 

1A & 2A finals are there tonight, 3A and 4A tomorrow.

Apopka is huge, about 4500 kids. Most of the Miami 8As are close to that size, if not bigger.

 

Armwood, 1800 or so.

 

Indian Rocks Christian is a tiny little church and k-12 school out near Indian Rocks Beach. They've maybe 50-75 high schoolers, if that? In Florida, 1A ans 2A allow virtually the same size enrollments, but 1A contains public schools only and 2A contains only private schools.

We have to drive by it when going to my kids place in Apopka. My grandkids will probably go there. They just got through renovating it. It's a gorgeous campus, now.
