Who will be Kentucky's New Offensive Coordinator?

Featured Replies

Just because they follow him doesn't mean that he's the guy.

If Kentucky does go the East Carolina rout, why not go get both East Carolina's OC guys instead of just 1?

Wouldn't be a bad hire but I have read that he is not a great recruiter.....

Good coach and is very coveted though.

I'm not sure what other programs he's been at, but I can imagine it being a little difficult to recruit top talent to ECU. I'm not sure if that's his issue with recruiting or not, I'm just throwing that possibility out there.

Your right, but I imagine they know more about the situation than us or the media. If they just started following him... Well, you know the saying, "where there is smoke there is fire." I do agree that UK should go after both though.

Texas Tech if I remember correctly....

Did he have recruiting problems there? There is a ton of talent to choose from in Texas.

That's a good point. You look at guys like Coley who is considered an ace recruiter, but he has been recruiting to FSU, Miami, and LSU. A lot of coaches could be cracker jack recruiters at those places.

Remember that at one time, Joker was one of the top recruiters in the game!

Both of whom? I think you are thinking of TCU.

Strong rumblings that Nebraska OC Tim Beck could become new OC at UK. Went to Cardinal Mooney High School same time as Stoops and Marrow. Would give UK more of a power running game.

Who replaces Vince Marrow?

I doubt he goes to Youngstown St.

From there, went to school there. I think it would be a good starter job for him if he gets it.

But if UK gets better and gets to a couple of Bowl games he'll get some looks at a HC job at some D1 schools.

Again I don't always trust KSR but...

@KySportsRadio: Spoke with UK Asst Vince Marrow who told me that he is not interested in the Youngstown State job and is "committed to being right here"

Coley is legit as a recruiter. Not one of those guys that has hit a couple and has a big name. Look at Miami's 2016 class. That's all him. You know none of those guys are coming to play for Golden or D'Nofrio.
