November 30, 201411 yr Thank God. The SEC was soooooo down this year. Even their best team is shaky if folks want to be real about things. Tough to argue.
November 30, 201411 yr They really need to press the committee chairman on how much Barrett's injury affects things. If I was on the committee, I would basically delay anything related to OSU until after next week's game against Wisconsin. If OSU doesn't miss a beat, I don't think they should be penalized. If they lose, it won't matter. This reminds me in a way to Kenyon Martin going down for UC in the Conference USA tournament.
November 30, 201411 yr I forgot about the QB getting hurt, should the committee even consider that for OSU? Things like that are supposed to be considered. According to the analysts that is why Baylor has been ahead of TCU even though the Horned Frogs have the head to head win. They are supposed to rank them on who they think are the best 4 teams at the time of ranking. Is OSU one of the best 4 with a 3rd string QB? I don't think we'll know until after Saturday.
November 30, 201411 yr Thank God. The SEC was soooooo down this year. Even their best team is shaky if folks want to be real about things. SEC is down, they lost too many goods players, especially QB's. Alabama should be in, no one else should be, even before today in my opinion.
November 30, 201411 yr Thank God. The SEC was soooooo down this year. Even their best team is shaky if folks want to be real about things. If they are that far down shouldn't you want 2 SEC teams in the playoff? That would make things easier for your Seminoles wouldn't it?
November 30, 201411 yr If they are that far down shouldn't you want 2 SEC teams in the playoff? That would make things easier for your Seminoles wouldn't it? They'd put FSU against Oregon. That's what's going to happen as it is should FSU find their way past Georgia Tech next week. As mentioned in one of these threads, it's not that I think Alabama is an easier opponent, but I think FSU matches up better with them than Oregon. I'd take FSU dropping to four or Oregon jumping Bama to get that game over the alternative. Guarantee you FSU would rather go to the Sugar Bowl and meet Alabama than Oregon in Pasadena.
November 30, 201411 yr Tech will defeat State in the ACC C-SHip game. I'll admit again that's what I'm feeling.
