Just for Al Sharpton

Featured Replies

So it's ok to be racist if you're making $ on it?

I missed where I said it was OK to be racist.

Do I think Al Sharpton thinks blacks are inherently better than whites? Not sure. Got any examples ?

This is pointless

I will say it. Al Sharpton is racist.

Anyone who who continually ignores facts if they go against his agenda and continually states the reason something happened is because of race is plain and simple a racist.

Al Sharpton is a racist.

Use se all the symantecs you want, spin it any way you want, Al Sharpton provoked the riots and had planned these protests for over a month. Anyone who doesn't think he wanted this are just as naive as those who think the protest will accomplish anything.

I think we can all agree that Al and Jesse are against all murder, correct?

So we can then agree that their focus is standing up for blacks. They do not stand up for those blacks in your list because those blacks were murderers.

Apples and oranges.

Nah, they're race baiters with the hope of profit in every case.

What is sAddest of all is a lot of the actions by these so called civil rights leaders do more harm to race relations than help. When people watch their race baiting a lot of them get more turned off with the cause than sympathy for the cause. It's because of the message they are sending. The message is to ignore facts and simply spread lies

about the case and end up creating more of a divide

than previously existed.

As mentioned before , Al and Jesse care more about money than anything else. They care, but money means a lot more to them .

You will not see either of them step up and address the black on black crime loudly as it doesn't play well with their followers.

Say what you will about the president, but he is walking a right line, just like any other president. Some on the far right claim he wasn't strong enough last night in his speech, some on the left and protesters and rioters said he went to far and are angry at him. What people fail to realize, or accept, is the troublemakers, every single one of the rioters and looters would never listen to him anyway! They would have told him off and then go on to riot and loot anyway, they simply don't care at all. So no one, not even Obama would have stopped these punks.

I still say the first rioter or looter you shoot, as one said on the thread last night, use rubber bullets, they will soon get the idea that they need to join the peaceful protesters.

As was mentioned , almost all of the property destroyed last night were minority owned! I am willing to bet anything that like most small businesses they either do not have enough insurance, or no insurance. Now these idiots ruin even more lives.

I agree. I met Jesse a few years ago, he is all about Jesse and would do anything to get publicity for himself.

But you have so called leaders in both sides, and radio and TV personalities who ONLY want to fan the flames .

Nah' date=' they're race baiters with the hope of profit in every case.[/quote']

This entirely.

Does anyone remember some years back when Jessie Jackson was up in arms about teens who were being expelled from school for a fight at a football game (maybe in Memphis)? He went on national television criticizing the administration, saying it would never happen to white students. He was all set to do his big dog and pony show until (sadly for him) video surfaced showing those boys instigated the fight and were totally responsible for it. When Jesse realized he couldn't further his agenda he quietly moved on. Had that video not existed he would have milked that event regardless of what the truth of the matter was. I can't stand Al or Jesse. They are as racist as any white person I know. I do, however, respect the savvy manner in which they know just how strong they want to trot out the race card. No one can say they are not wise.

Spot on Hellbird! Reverend Al has bills to pay. He couldn't give a hoot about anybody but himself. He does all this to raise money for himself and his organizations. It is shameful that good people fall prey to charlatans like him.

....and some very big ones, Uncle Sam being one of them. He owes roughly 4.5 million in back taxes.

"Mr. Sharpton has regularly sidestepped the sorts of obligations most people see as inevitable, like taxes, rent and other bills. Records reviewed by The New York Times show more than $4.5 million in current state and federal tax liens against him and his for-profit businesses."

It's easy just to say "he's a racist." Give me an example because the one in post 1 isn't it.

I've said he may be. He may have a history of being a racist. I'm asking for examples.

How did Sharpton cause the riots? You don't think the rioting was going to happen regardless? Come on.

He's 100% an opportunist. You still need to show me some examples of being a racist.

Nah, they're race baiters with the hope of profit in every case.

Again, I'm on record as saying they profit. That doesn't mean they're racists.

Did Al spread lies knowing they were lies or did he repeat what many witnesses claimed happened?

To tell you the truth, before yesterday I thought he spread lies knowing they were lies. After listening him today I am more convinced of that than ever before.
