If if we were to use the same driving distances WKY would use, NKY would stretch to and include louisville schools too lol

You could argue that within the Purchase area west of LBL that there's nowhere you can't be within 30 minutes. It's a pretty condensed area, which much fewer people per square mile than Boone/Campbell/Kenton counties.

Graves Co and Calloway Co have a total of 76,000 people with three teams. One team for every 25,333 people.

We are looking at the vicinity of these schools. How close are the 3 schools you are talking about and we are still talking 5 from NKY.

 

Also remember we aren't talking about all those people going to only those 5 schools. There are 27 high schools in that area we are talking about. (about 13k per school) so if my research is correct you have 4 High Schools in those 2 counties compared to 27 in NKY

which means those 4 schools drawfrom an avg of 19k pele which is more than the 13k the NKY schools draw from on avg.

 

Now I will say if those 2 counties have 3 of their 4 High school teams in the semis then that is impressive big time.

Mayfield 1A, Graves County 5A, Murray High 2A. The other school is 4A Calloway Co.
