I noticed in the article that Williamsburg will be traveling to Raceland in chartered buses. I also believe I remember reading that Coach Maynard was offered chartered buses for his team to travel to Williamsburg last year, but he declined. If that is correct, did he give a reason for declining the charted buses instead of having his team ride in school buses?

Yes 7-0 on a play where Hazard kid broke 6 or 7 tackles and ran 80 yards for the only score of the game.

 

Hazard would of been a much better team if they didn't lose playmaker Austin Johnson to a torn Achilles. That Hazard and Williamsburg game was a classic. I believe if Hazard had Johnson healthy they would of been back in BG that year.

 

But game day is nearing and I can't wait to get the updates from the game. I also would like to know if I could listen online somewhere?

I may be wrong, but I don't believe Raceland has a local station that carries them during the regular season. It could be possible though since Raceland and Russell are the only two local teams left that a local station could elect to broadcast this game.

They also broadcast the game on ihigh.com. They don't have the best service on there and it goes in and out, the internet that is.

I will have to have Ram confirm this, but I do believe that Maynard was offered and declined the chartered buses.

Maynard is 6'5"+ and doesn't like Charter busses. Yes, he was offered. Yes he declined them, on several occasions for several different games.

I noticed that the Litkenhouse rankings have Raceland ranked over Williamsburg 99.9 to 98.9. Does anybody follow that ranking system very closely that could possibly tell us how accurate that system usually is when predicting winners?

Last year Lit predicted Hazard to beat Wburg by 2 or 3 and Wburg to beat Raceland by 2 or 3, I guess because of schedule Lit doesn't like Wburg...
