Would Brockman have been the D1AA tackle?

 

Metzger was a good RB for that team but I do think the Moore/Zajac/Barrett trio is better. Moore and Zajac better individually than Metzger who would get the nod over the sophomore Barrett as an individual right now.

I actually think the Metzger boys were both better than either Moore, Zajac, or Barrett individually when it comes to running the ball. But put Moore/Zajac/Barrett on the same team and they win hands down.

And you may be right about the Metzgers. I just remember Nick and that was my freshmen and sophomore years so I don't fully remember his performances.

They were 4 years apart. Those boys had 4.5 speed but with make you look stupid moves coming out their ears.

 

Zajac reminds me of Nick Metzger.

Thanks for the Kenton County/NKY support brother. The guys on Simon Kenton and Dixie pretty much know each other and I would think, even as teens, they are more mature and supportive than what you display at times in these threads. As I have posted MANY times, I think you and whoever else posts under "uk#1fan" just likes to stir the pot and I'm almost positive more than one person posts under that screen name. I guess that's good for BGP to get traffic on the thread but seriously the act does get tiresome.

I blame it all on one Dixie fan. I will still cheer for them just not here.

Brockman was more imposing as a defensive end. He and Justin Hunter made one the best d-end combos.

Go Bruins!! Coached several of these kids in youth football, pulling for them to get to Bowling Green!! Know nothing about DH.

From the little bit of hudl game film I've seen Ballard runs some wing t, single wing, and pro with trips to the wide side. They like to blitz on defense and are very athletic.

 

Coach Jackson and Coach Brossart will have their teams ready for an epic game. Execution and limiting the opponent to the big play will be the difference in this one. It's the state semis...both teams made it here for a reason. Looking forward to a very good battle and in my book this is a pick'em!
