A very lucky 14 in my opinion. Both scores came very late into the game. Nonetheless, glad to see the Cardinals put up a convincing win. We should have lots of momentum heading up to Beechwood come black friday.

Would love to see Mayfield and Graves play right now while they are both peaking. I know it's not possible. Congrats to that county for having 2 teams in the semi's!

Wouldn't be that close, Graves is good but not Mayfield good

Thank you for your insight. I just figured they were pretty good since they just beat the best team in the state. This could create a good crosstown rivalry that may turn competitive...

Bright put on a show, if he gets a seam.....look out

I know he's got a lot of time left. Where do you or other Cardinal fans put him in comparison to Jackson as far as what's to come?

Trajon Bright set 2 school records tonight. Rushing yards in a season and TD's in a season. Congrats to Trajon on those records. The play he out ran #5 down the sideline was impressive. His acceleration is ridiculous!

Defense looked pretty stout once again. I think it will be tough to score much on this group. Overall I thought it was a great performance from the big red machine.

Bright is a much more skilled runner than Jackson. Jonathan was 210 lbs and could power over people but he didn't have near the shiftiness of Bright. Bright's only negative is he's about 5'6 and 150 lbs soaking wet, but, he's stronger than he looks and can break tackles much more than you'd think and when he gets in the open field, he turns on the jets. He really doesn't look all that fast but when he breaks away from the line, he has that 2nd gear and isn't going to be denied. Jackson was an Eddie Grorge type runner while Bright is more like a Dorsett or Barry Sanders type..

I personally don't think you can compare them. Kinda like the apples to oranges thing. Trajon is a different style back. Jackson was dangerous with the ball, but he wasn't as electric as Bright is. Also, when you looked at JJ in a uniform, he just looked the part, even when he was an underclassmen. I would say if you didn't know who Bright was, when you see him come on the field you would think he was an average JV player................but boy he's not!

Russ was down 2 scores as soon as they got off the bus and really had little success moving the ball until it was too late and this one was in hand. Excellent job by the line creating lanes and giving Arnett the time he needed. Only forced to scramble a couple of times, with one going for a TD pass.

Not likely, 21-0 this year and Mf hasn't lost to them in years. With what both return next year MF should easily roll
