Sterling Morehead Ashland Most of Southeast Kentucky is looking at a dusting to around 1" Areas along the I-75 Corridor from the Tennessee state line to around Richmond have a small chance to see some freezing rain or sleet. This area is bordered on the west by Columbia and goes to the northeast to around Somerset and Mt. Vernon. I only posted because the title of the the thread was winter storm warning for NKY. I live in Mason/Bracken and it is 45 here right now, we don't get Northern Kentucky weather and we don't get Lexington weather, just wondering what to expect,probably a tornado,lol. Be prepared for anything from 2" to 6" or maybe 3"-5". That would be my best guess All In :idunno: Im right there with ya....seen where alot of ppl are stocking up on the essentials (milk, Eggs, bread) I might stop on the way home and get my essentials (beer, and Cigs) she went to the store Friday so we should be good on that front

The rain would just wash away any treatment they put down. That doesn't mean they don't think they'll get a bunch of snow.

The county rd. dept has bigger fish to fry besides my road so I don't ever worry about treating the roads. Put the ranger in 4 wheel and go on. agree with you about the schools hope they don't waste days this yr

November 17, 201411 yr Author This is what I was concerned about the chance for freezing rain. The area highlighted now has a chance to get from .001-.01" of freezing rain. This would make the roads in that area very treacherous. So everyone in that area be careful.
November 17, 201411 yr Went to bed last night at 1:30 and not a flake had fallen here in Bellevue, got up this morning to the phone ringing saying NewCath closed. However, Daddy's Little Girl 3.0 is on a 90 minute delay, she's not a happy camper. :lol: I'm just glad I had the day off from work. :dancingpa
