Male should've handled business better the first game. It was the test the Bulldogs needed. They know how to handle a big game without it getting bigger than them. Like those dropped touchdowns that kept the rocks close.

AND the gift wrapped INT to Male for a TD, lol, stuff happens during a game, that's high school football, it's gonna be a good one for sure

Key players for both teams will step up and make significant plays, but Male scores late to make it 3 in a row over Trinity.

It's already 3 in a row over Trinity. Male will be trying to make it 4 in a row this week.

I was expecting T to lose by 2 TDs last game. Didn't happen. Male at home on grass is probably an advantage for Male, but just like how Trinity is coming together this time of year. If I had to pick right now, I go T14 Male 10. The cold weather will effect both teams and turnovers will be up because of it.

Who learned more from the first game? Do they have the capability to implement changes based on what they learned? I actually think the cold weather and heavy field might favor T this year.....T is pretty strong up the gut. I don't know if the weather and field tip the scales toward T, though. Male left some points on the field early in the game a few weeks ago. I think that whichever team wins will have to play a better game than they did last time. This game has the makings of a very good game.

Review of results: Male put 35 on Trinity, 28 on Male, 30 on St. X and 17 versus Meade Co.

 

Trinity put 34 on Male, 14 on Manual, and 21 on St X. Male has not shown the same firepower recently as they did early in the season. The level of difficulty has increased. We'll see how this plays out. Maybe the toughness of Trinity schedule pays off this week.

 

If it's 28 on Manual (just guessing and not trying to be a smart aleck, just not at a place I can look right now), then it'd still be an edge with Male. I'm just trying to figure out why people would say they'd water down the field. I remember Frakes tweeting that they had tons of offensive firepower and people on here seem to be saying that the cold will favor Trinity because it'll be more of a "power" game. If all that is true, why would Male want a wet field?

I think this will be just like the game at Male in 2006 when Doug Beaumont was a senior. A game that could absolutely go either way. Both teams were dominant last week. H does have the home field advantage, but might face a little more pressure than last year in that they are SUPPOSED to win. Easily the best game to attend statewide this Friday.

Yes it matters a lot a sloppy wet track would favor Male and the running game with their size advantage on both lines. A dry fast field would favor T's style of play!

I will take Male running the ball over Male throwing the ball. Defense wins games and our run defense is better than our pass defense.
