Yes the policeman was asked by administration to escort him out because he was yelling at his daughters and the officials thought he was yelling at them. It was an instance that was blown way out of proportion. The scene had a pretense from their first meeting and Conner officials were keyed up for an event to happen like this on this night. Had the first game gone smoother, I doubt this would have occurred. Ironically, the policeman was from Grant Co and he stated he felt the ejection wasn't necessary but that he had to do it because administration asked him to.

 

And the wife?

7th grade girls HMS over Twenhofel. HMS moves on to the finals. Pretty sure it will be against Conner. HMS lost by almost 30 the first time they met this year. Hopefully we see a different game this time and Conner isn't hitting 3's. Good luck Birds!

The Holy Cross team looks very solid #13, #14 & #15 are players and are learning that trapping press early.

 

St. Joes - Cold Springs has some solid players that look like AAU girls. Got some size on that team

 

St. Mary's has a small army of solid players.

 

St. Agnes & Blessed Sac have some players but split teams are a little thin (but at 6th grade give me a thin bench with max playing time over a league trophy any day)

Girls 6th grade big school championship match up is Gray v/s Twenhofel Saturday morning. Should be a great game!

Conner Highlands rematch for 8th grade championship.

Conner over highlands in 7th grade finals by 14 I think. Macke and Walz all tourney for highlands, Drummonds for Conner, not sure of other two for Conner.

6h grade Twenhofel over Gray by 9. Kady Schawe, Sidney Thomas and Beka Sergent made the all tournament team.

Racehel Gabbard, Hanna Buecher and Morgan Coffey all-tournament for HMS. I didn't get the Conner girls. I will try to find out and update.

Heard that St. Mary's has a very good team and only lost to Turkeyfoot by 2 which lost in the Semi-finals against Twenhofel.
