November 3, 201411 yr Author I think NKU should do a better job of recruiting NKY after looking at their roster. Their is to much talent in NKY. They could have went after Morrison, Hatton and Ruthsatz to name a few.

November 12, 201411 yr Author I might be wrong but I think they went after Hatton and he wasn't interested. They barely recruited him. I am sure they probably could have got him, Morrison from SK, Ruthsatz from CovCath and some other NKY kids. Maybe it is time for a new coach that will recruit NKY? From what I have heard their are plenty of seats open at their home games. Get some local kids and people will come watch them play.

If you're going to compete in Division 1, you need more than local talent.
November 12, 201411 yr Look at Thomas Moore they have at least 6 kids from NKY. That's because they're not D1. NKY doesn't produce D1 talent that a D1 program can build around. NKY produces, at best, D1 role players, and those are few and far between.

Holmes has had several D1 kids, HC had a 6'9 D1 kid, SK had a Michael Brock EKU, Justin Doellman (Ryle) Xavier, and Ross Neltner (Highlands) Vandy just to name a few!
