Curious about that myself.

Last night was senior night and when they introduced him they just said something along the lines of he wants to play football at the next level. Didn't give any colleges so I take it he hasn't decided yet if he has gotten any offers.

I believe UC and WKU are interested in him as a WR.

I saw the Dixie/SK game and I will say that Dixie has speed to burn. As mentioned, Moore runs the option so well that if he gets just a crease it "Katy bar the door". They are big along the line, but their speed was just amazing to me. Moore's field vision was impressive. They didn't pass much that game, but I think if they get behind by two scores, their advantage with the option might be neutralized. I don't care who they play in 6A, they will be a tough, tough out.

I don't buy the "Cooper didn't want to be there" line. If that's true then they have a short run ahead of them.

 

You play 10 games in a season that are guaranteed. How in the world can you go through a year of training and then "not want to be there" for 1 of the games? I don't buy it.

 

100% in your camp on the quoted, and I didn't see the game. I have no idea who or how many people have dropped the "don't (didn't) want to be there," line as I typically just ignore the post entirely once I see that.

 

My experience has proven to me this is a line given by someone who is watching (or coaching a youth game perhaps) and simply can't figure out why their team is getting beat. They have no technical answers, so it must be lack of effort, or lack of heart. 99.9% of the time effort nor heart have anything to do with it. The person shouting that at the windmill will never understand though.

 

My educated guess is Cooper got beat because Dixie is bigger, stronger, and faster than Cooper at most positions. All the "want to" in the world isn't going to change that.

He has had interests from about 6 different schools but no offers yet..UC is looking at him as a WR, Purdue has serious interest in him. We'll see.

I will not go as far to say that Cooper is horrible,, but this is not the team I saw play against Ryle or Scott. The defense that was running around and hungry was not the team on the field. From what I saw tonight was a team that appeared to lay down on their coach. Over and over I saw their coach meet them on the field trying to get them up and motivated and they walked around lifeless. There was one team that showed up to play tonight,, unfortunately for Cooper,, they were wearing red.

 

I asked the question a couple of weeks ago if the wheels on the Cooper bus were getting loose. From the way they played tonight,, I would not be reserving the bus to Bowling Green as of yet. This team does not look primed for a run in the playoffs,, which is a shame because I thought they would be a contender from how they looked at the beginning of the season.

 

Ryle would beat Coper by atleast 3 scores if they would have played after getting comfortable with new coaching system. They have done nothing agaist a quality opponent this year. Sorry it is what it is.

Ryle would beat Coper by atleast 3 scores if they would have played after getting comfortable with new coaching system. They have done nothing agaist a quality opponent this year. Sorry it is what it is.

here we go again. shoulda woulda coulda. did ryle not have all of spring and summer football to learn the new system? did they not have all of spring and summer football to get used to the new coaches? did they not have any 7 on 7 scrimmages during that time? I guess we will have to wait til next year to find out if your prediction is true or not. Until then, Cooper beat Ryle this year. Get over it already. Sorry thats just the way it is.

Well guess what? Ryle lost. So tired of the what ifs. If Ryle is so much better than Cooper then they should have beat them when they played. They didn't. They didn't just lose but they lost by 2 scores so get over yourself. Cooper beat them and that's that.

Meaningless game or not, embarrassing effort. Was an off night so went to support some of the Cooper boys I that have watched for years, I dont think anyone was really surprised by the 1st half but maybe Cooper faithful. Hopefully they show up at home this week.

actually most of the Cooper faithful weren't suprosed at all with the first half. Not sure why you said that. If you looked at the prediction thread you would know that.
