September 22, 201511 yr It depends. In bigger tourney's you almost have to have a stack to score big points. The problem is, if your stack struggles, you've got no chance of cashing in. But if you're stack goes big, you can get a nice payoff. In the 50-50's, and smaller, head to head games, it's not as important, because it's easier to cash in (less people to beat) and there's no big reward for winning. So not stacking reduces your risk...no need for bigger risk, when the payoff isn't as big. Were giving away too much information. :lol2:

This is the first year I've really done some homework and started trying to really learn how to play. I've been listening to the Fantasy Sports station on Sirius and have an app that helps me figure out lineups (although in the end, I end up picking with my gut). I've never hit big in any tournament, I think my biggest win ever was $100. So far though, I'm doing much better this year. Honestly, just want to keep my bankroll intact and holding out hope that I hit one big one this year.

I usually only throw a couple $'s at big tourneys. Kind of like playing the lottery. Gotta play to win. I figure if I can cash on a few 50/50's every week, I can keep throwing a couple bucks into the big events.

September 22, 201511 yr Fanduel is advertising a lot! I haven't noticed it much. Maybe they could get a few more ad spots.
