Nice lineup. I should have stuck with my original lineup which had Fitzpatrick/Brandon Marshall stack instead of Brees/Cooks. I used that lineup in a couple other games, and managed to come out a little ahead for the week.

I went with Decker/Fitz because he was a little cheaper in the tourney. They both had solid games. Now to find a good stack for the tourney this week.

I got mine picked out, and I'm sticking with it this time.

I have Decker on my season long league, and he almost gave me a big comeback. As it is, I had the highest losing score this week. I have Leveon Bell, so coming out of the first two weeks 1-1 and the second highest scorer in the league makes me feel pretty good.

I've sort of played around with the site for a while, but have been hesitant to jump in due to fear I'd get addicted. Is the stacking with a QB and WR critical to winning?

I've yet to win in football so I can't answer your question. I'm still searching for a winning formula. :lol2:

I also have the same fear of getting addicted. Our league is 5 bucks to play. I deposited 25 bucks before the season started and I only play in the BGP league. It scratches that itch and I don't lose a ton of money in the process. If I lose every week I'll deposit another 25 bucks after week 5. Worst case scenario a 25 dollar deposit gets me 5 weeks of playing. So come on in!!!!! The more the merrier!!!!

Not as much for a 50/50 contest. It's typically a strategy used mostly in tournaments and contest that pay out like top 30% or something close to that. It's more risky, but payoff is much higher. You can go more conservative with the 50/50s because you just need to be better than half the people.

It depends. In bigger tourney's you almost have to have a stack to score big points. The problem is, if your stack struggles, you've got no chance of cashing in. But if you're stack goes big, you can get a nice payoff. In the 50-50's, and smaller, head to head games, it's not as important, because it's easier to cash in (less people to beat) and there's no big reward for winning. So not stacking reduces your risk...no need for bigger risk, when the payoff isn't as big.

And as far as addiction, there are plenty of small money games (under $5), and if you play mostly 50-50's you'll have no problem breaking even. I usually spend about $20/week. A couple big tourney's, and a couple 50/50's and a double up (where a little less than half the people win, but you double your entry if you do). I'm up about $50 after two weeks, although a big chunk of that was winning this BGP contest in week 1.
