Judging from both statements you really haven't been familiar with the Dragons in a long, long time.

Not for the first time I realize in retrospect it may not have been the brightest thing for me to upload that video. Never realized it would be the lightening rod it is.

Highlands shouldn't need a video to get hyped up for a game, but to each their own.

But I did just watch the video clip via youtube. To quote Coach Feggins, he said "My son plays at Highland High School. You should never lose to Highland High School! I watched them for three years. You should never lose to Highland High School! There's too many athletes in here to take advantage of kids like that".

Not sure that's the style of this coaching staff so I highly doubt they would upload to Hudl or much less even discuss the video.

Yeah you would think he would know the name of the school his kid went to for 3yrs..

You don't see them enough to know.

 

There is not a player on this team as good as Chris Porter-Bunton or Rondell Green. But that's where that comparison stops. They're more experienced and have much more depth than last year's team. They may not have the top level speed that will help them in a game like this, but top to bottom, this is a better team. My eyes do not deceive me.

 

I do know those two were special and the majority of the reason for the comeback last year! Studs! But I think I recall one other younger kid that was pretty darn good too. No idea what the name was, but thought he was a frosh or soph last year....Am I crazy?

Damani Walker. Plays primarily defense this season. BIG BLACK JACK is overstating the idea they have no speed - they just put the majority of it on defense. Situationally they play some of those guys two ways including Walker. Walker was apparently banged up and missed last week's game, no idea if he'll play this week.

I'm looking for a defensive struggle this year. Somewhere in the 45-42 range.
