Thoughts?

Why did Boyle County pass LexCath? I wouldn't have done that. Other than that, no surprises.

Yeah! What he said ^. Other than that, looks pretty sweet.

Probably swapped the 2 around to create chatter around their fan bases. It won't matter, round 2 is coming in a few weeks

Considering JC's SoS and another solid win for Madisonville North-Hopkins, I would be tempted to move MNH to #3.

Interesting to see how JC is evaluated following this Friday's game.

Belfry more than likely will be playing less 5 defensive starters and 4 offensive starters. Would not be surprised to see JC win big. The question then becomes what that victory actually says?

I'm not buying it. I work with a crowd full of Belfry guys that tell me almost everyone is going to play. You are setting the tables to be as if JC wins by a few, then they are horrible becaue they should've won by more. If Belfry wins then JC is still horrible because they should have beaten a "depleated" roster. We will all find out what type of team JC has in the second round of the playoffs if they advance to that point. One thing is for sure, JC has some guys out that played in week one as does Belfry but the majority of each team's rosters should be healthy enough to play. Haywood will have his boys ready to roll like he always does and they will go out and play what they have to their best of their ability.

Don't buy it if you wish.

We will see if Haywood choose to play them.. I know for a fact some will not be going..but as of last Friday Night:

Horton- Starting DT #1, TE #2 (shoulder)

Willis- Starting HB #1, Starting CB #2 (ankle)

Catron- Starting HB #2, Starting FS #1 (collar bone)

Bentley- Starting TE #1, Starting DT #2 (ribs)

Edwards- Starting SS #1, HB #3 (toe)

Woolum- Starting SE #1, CB #4 (knee)

... were all out. Horton and Woolum are definitely out. Catron still is awaiting clearance from a Broken Collarbone. Willis and Edwards are TBD. Bentley is the only one that may play.

Belfry's offense is still good to go. Losing both TE's hurt but the interior line is healthy and they have three playmakers in Corbett, Hatfield, and Taylor.

Defensively though Belfry is in trouble.

What's the specific prognoses on Horton, Woolum and the other most recent injuries from this past Friday, Cat, and how long will they each take to rehab according to your info?

Dont want to clutter the 4A thread talking about Belfry. Will post in the Belfry vs. JC thread in response.

If you had switched out Boyle and LexCath after the Taylor Co game I could see it but now after both team running clocked to outclassed opponents it just doesn't make sense. Whatever the Knights will just get show if they should be ranked higher in the playoffs I guess.
