I have to say, I have enjoyed having an Ironton fan on BGP this week. Normally this thread would have just been us Raceland fans, but you have brought great information and conversation to it. Thanks for sharing.

Racelands Passing game is what I'm afraid of, not our strong suite although a little better than last year. We have a CB that is a SR and hadn't played Varsity Football until this year, he's turned out to be a heck of a CB, I wish he had played the last couple years. He's had 3 or 4 INT's and can hit a pretty good lick.

Ironton thinks we are an inferior opponent. They came into last year's game 3-6 and thought they were better than us and were actually upset that we won and we were 7-2 at the time. The lore of Ironton football is warranted but that is borderline disrespectful to our program and what we are. Every good team should go into each game feeling they can win but there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance.

From Drew Pasteures web site, Drew Pasteur, a math professor at the College of Wooster, in Wooster, Ohio, and an alumnus (Ph.D. in applied mathematics, 2008) of N.C. State University. He does a great job calculating all of Ohio's high school projections each week. He predicts everything from wins/losses, Points, Playoff seeds. He does a great job if you ever want to look up anything.
