Things I learned last night.

I still hate Hofbrauhaus house. No Miller lite and way too loud. Food sucks too.

Swamprat is a class act and still dearly misses his buddy.

RTS--was a year ahead of me in highschool, I needed to spend a little more time in detention to get to know him better. He remembered me after he realized I was the kid with the afro back then.

LA Wildcat--kept it classy until the gal with the fake boobs walked by.

Mr. LA Wildcat-don't let him fool you, he posts on BGP more often than you think. But since he bought me a beer I'll keep his name hush hush.

Lawnboy--of course he married up, not hard to do for him. :laugh: Mrs. Lawnboy is not only a looker, but she could sing in the day and once did a duet with me. I must have been really bad, she said she remembered the experience.

NKU--I was right, no way I could fit in his old soccer jersey. We had beers before in a suite at a Reds game a couple years ago. And by the way, if he had chosen a waitress, it would have been a lock for him to pick her up.

CWB-- came late, super nice guy, I looked in that bag of CD's he had borrowed from lawn boy and started to wonder about the two of them. I expect to see more posts about Cov. Latin from you!

Q--Really? You forgot about the meeting until LB sent you a text and than you didn't bring a cigar? Wow! Would have liked to chatted more with you.

Clyde--thought for sure I would have recognized you. Super nice dude as well. Plus growing up in my white bread world I don't have a whole lot of black friends so it is good to call you my friend. I did not notice, Did you have Puma's on last night?

Sports fan, Pete--sorry I missed you guys.

Great time! What a small world we live in. Interesting I had crossed paths with several of the random folks. Pretty cool that BGP has reunited us. We all get to share opinions, vent, make random posts, but in the long run we are all friends with a little something in comman.

As for the dancing... Let's just say I'm glad nobody pulled out a camera.

I wanted to thank all those that made it out on the short notice. Mrs. S and I had a blast. After spending 3 days sharing a cabin with RTS in the woods (That doesn't sound right, does it?), it was nice to mingle with normal people.

 

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting lawildcat and her Mr., TAC, Lawboy13 and his Mrs., CWB, Qryche11, and nkuclubbaseball19 for the first time. I was good seeing Clyde, SportsGuy41017, and nkypete again.

 

I love to people watch and watching you all interact was pure enjoyment.

 

When I wasn't people watching, I spent most of my time conversing with nku19. I really enjoyed talking baseball and soccer with him. You know you are more than welcome to put up at mi casa for the UC game next year. Or for the UC series here, if there is one, for baseball. I always have extra tickets for baseball.

 

At the very least, we'll do this again in 2016, when USF plays UC again.

I had photos, and one video. But later someone asked to use my phone, and when I got home I realized all the evidence was gone!

I was too, trust me I would of much rather been there than be stuck where I was.

 

I will give you a little info and background on the person I was stuck with that night.

My daughters in-laws were moving to Arizona the next day. They just closed on their house here and had no place to stay until they left in the morning so they stayed with us. Now my daughters Father in law is awesome and I get along with him great. He is a pilot and got transferred to Phoenix which is why they had to move etc. Now my daughters mother in law...well that is a different story.

 

Put it this way, when my daughter and son in law first started dating (in high school) before I even met my future son in law, I get a phone call one night and it was his mother. I never met her much less never met him yet and she calls me. I then was stuck talking to this stranger for 2 1/2 hours listening to how her son was too good for anyone and how she was concerned if whether or not my daughter was good for him or if she would be a bad influence etc. Now there are overprotective mothers and then there is her.

 

She is a person who stays home, although she has a job as a nurse at a hospital and works nights, she would only work maybe 1 day a month. She doesn't have many friends at all, mostly because she is too good for everyone in her own mind. We would always invite her and the rest of the family over for holidays etc. because she already alienated her own in-laws and family that none of them ever come to visit her anymore. So when she does come over for Christmas and Thanksgiving etc. she sits in a corner and gives all the other guests nasty looks and her 2 young children (girl and a boy who are 10 years younger than my son in law) just sit in their chair playing on their phones the entire time.

 

Now my daughter and son in law went to college together after High School and they both attended a college in Az. They both agreed not to get married until after they both graduated etc. So now after they graduated they got married and it was out in AZ. They then moved back here as he got a job at GE but would always talk about how they would liketo move back to AZ one of these days. so when his mom heard that she had her husband put in for a transfer to AZ lol, her son then got settled in here with GE and isn't going anywhere but ooops....her husband got the transfer lol. She tried to force him to commute to work which would be all the way across the country which he did for her when he was stationed out of Atlanta for the past 5 years, he finally put his foot down and made her move since it was her idea in the first place. So now they are as we speak driving across country to AZ (they decided to take 4 days because they have 3 dogs and 2 kids and 2 cars etc.) while my daughter and son in law are having their first house built in Fairfield here and will be here for awhile

 

 

So that is why I couldn't stop out. As if anyone really needed to hear all that garbage anyway lol. If i could of made it out it would of been to celebrate

 

On a side note, my daughter and son in law are ecstatic that she is now going to be in AZ and they can stay here where they like much better anyway. They just didn't want to be close to her and is why they lived in West Chester before they had this house built because it was just far enough from her that she wouldn't be there everyday lol

I think my wife has video, I'm doing my best to destroy the evidence. Me doing the chicken dance is probably something BGP land doesn't want to see.
