Had a basketball video, player feature and football preview to work through tonight. Almost snuck out around 7, but knew the game day coverage for the morning would not get done if I did... :lol2:

Glad to meet for the first time lawildcat and her hubby, nkuclubbaseball19, TAC (finally sunk in I remember him from high school) and a cat I've wanted to meet for a long time, Colonels_Wear_Blue! All of you were a pleasure to meet! lawildcat is awesome and I know some of her relatives plus her husband is a great guy, ncb19 is a really nice guy and I wish I had more time to talk with him, TAC and I need to talk again since we only had 1 year separating us in high school and I'd like to to pick his brain a while, CWB was as cool as I imagined, really enjoyed talking to him and I hope I get the chance to hang with him again real soon!

Well....I was glad Lawnboy sent me a text at 8:45 saying where are you because I was so busy at work yesterday I didn't check the thread at all. I arrived around 9 and it was cool putting faces with screen names. I kept looking for Farrah Fawcett for some reason. Swampy looked great with the fedora I just wish he would have brought those hand rolled cigars . :banana: CWB and I are FB friends but that was our first face to face, good dude. Clyde as always smooth as silk, TAC had to jet to see his boy so didn't get a chance to chat much, maybe next time out at the Hayloft or something. NKUclubbaseball, nice to finally meet as well. Didn't meet Sportsguy until everyone was leaving so we will have to catch up more next time. LaWildcat and Mr. lawildcat hope you guys got home to the farm safely. Glad I could fill Mr LaWildcat in on some pertinent info there at the end. Lol .

 

NKYPete showed me some sats on his tablet and we chatted a little. He forgot his state championship ring though. RTS it is always a pleasure as well, loved the Zeppelin shirt, forgot to tell you. I will proudly say I was the last BGP member standing but only because I ordered a final Premium Lager just before last call and had to stick around at the bar to finish. Chatted it up with some drunk guys in there 20's about how lucky they are to be that age and to live it up. Good times had by all.

If I would have known that you were staying I would have as well, I just assumed everyone was leaving. Nice to meet you and hope we all can get this together real soon and talk then, or if you ever see me out just get my attention.

Last night was a great time. I'm really glad I got to finally meet some more BGP greats.

 

-swamprat was an absolute blast to talk to. His love of sports (specifically USF) is remarkable and I'm hoping I can make the trip down next year when UC visits Tampa. Have a great time at all the games this weekend and I'll look for you tomorrow! Thanks again!! :thumb:

-RTS, we didn't get to talk much but I did enjoy the little bit of conversation that we did have. As for the dancing... Let's just say I'm glad nobody pulled out a camera.

-TAC: I always figured there were some members on BGP that I had previously met but didn't know they were a member, and TAC falls into that category. Great to see you again last night! (Maybe I should post this in the soccer forum so you'll actually see it :idunno:)

-lawildcat (and the M.): It was a pleasure to meet you both! Too bad the band was so loud and even speaking across the table was difficult. If I go to any Campbell County events I'll be sure to look for you all.

-Sportsguy41017: We didn't get to speak a whole bunch but it was really great to meet you. Hopefully we'll get a chance to talk more in the future!

-Qyrche: Very nice to meet you since you're practically a neighbor. I enjoyed the conversation and look forward to doing it again sometime.

 

And as always it was wonderful to see everyone else (Clyde, CWB, LB13, nkypete-the dinosaur)!
