He's also got the incident where he said something vulgar, the shoplifting crab legs, and the rape charge and disciplinary hearing. So far, he's sat out a whole half of a game. Todd Gurley signed half as many things and has sat out twice as long. I'm all for college kids being able to sell their autographs. I'm also going to say that Jameis should have known better and what a big deal it'd turn into if he were to get caught up in it.
October 14, 201411 yr Jimbo you gotta cut him lose...IMO Schools are in no-win situations on things like this (especially complicated by the sexual allegation, take II, from 2 years ago). Suspend him from playing, and he is found not guilty, and you didn't have your players' backs and that is used against you for years. Do play him, and then he is found guilty, and "I hope you're happy with those wins with that criminal / cheater". Schools / Athletic Departments can't win. Err on the side of innocent until proven guilty and let the chips fall where they fall. I would draft him over Johnny Manziel 100x out of 100.

Then I heard 400 signed items for Winston. Now they are saying 1,000? Winston missed a whole game. You're almost worse than the national media begging for his downfall.

I think teams almost always have to forfeit Bowl Money earned if they forfeit the game. I know in Basketball any money from advancing in the tourney gets paid back, I'm pretty sure football is the same way
