Voice of Reason Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I am not sold on Glasgow this year. I think Walton Verona is more deserving of the #10 slot at this time. There are some great 2A matchups this week that could change up these rankings.

Their two best wins are against a way down Somerset and a Monroe County team that isn't even a Top 15 team in 3A.
theguru Posted October 13, 2014 Author Posted October 13, 2014 Switch 7 & 8. Why would you switch Danville and Prestonsburg?
Bac2369 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Prestonsburg will be higher by season end and should be in BG.
Hearsay Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 The team that LOSES the CAL-DeSales game this week actually gets a more favorable playoff scenario.
price499 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 The team that LOSES the CAL-DeSales game this week actually gets a more favorable playoff scenario. How so?
Guest THEWHOLESHOW Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 i don't think that is correct! is it?
UK fball fan Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 What he's probably referring to is the fact that the winner would likely have a 2nd round match with Bardstown while the loser would likely have a 2nd round match with Glasgow.. The difference is the Bardstown game would be at home to the winner and the Glasgow game would be on the road to the loser, and, I'm not sure there's much difference between those 2 teams to start with..

Plus, the winner of that game gets a first-round bye in the playoffs since D3 only has three teams.
Hearsay Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 I am counting a BYE in the first round game as a disadvantage. I have never liked BYE weeks in the playoffs. Glasgow is down. The #1 seed would have to defeat Bardstown and the #2 in consecutive weeks, and my opinion is that is just more difficult.
mexitucky Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Prestonsburg will be higher by season end and should be in BG. This is the year to win the east.
Voice of Reason Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 This is the year to win the east. Who are the leading contenders on the east side of the bracket?
