All three should be on the roster. Reese has played outstanding the last few games especially against Boyle Co. Cameron Bailey is the best Center in the state and Chase Boling is one of the best linebackers in the state. Nothing against the players selected all are good players,

but I don't think the picks are based on the performance on the field but who got the most publicity or who they are. Also, what about Boyle or Highlands. I don't particularly care for either team but I do respect their talent. Both teams should have players selected for this team.

We all just want to know what the criteria is to be chosen to play in this game. Like someone mentioned, Trinity, Saint X, Male, Manual and BG has only 1 representative?

 

Trinity, Saint X, Male, Manuel are on the GREATER LOUISVILLE team. Bowling Green would have had some on but have injuries. Highlands didn't submit players from what I have been told.

Have to remember that players not named may not have wanted to play or their coaches may not have nominated, etc. etc. You never know. And there are only so many slots. Difficult decisions on those naming the team.

 

There are other post-season games that will provide opportunity - Border Bowl, etc.

 

Lets hope that the largest honor-roll (C-J All State) does not exclude deserving players when that time comes. But for now - congratulations to those on the team.

Every year it's like that. Never know how the team is selected.

Your teams Head coach nominates players. Then a panel makes their selections

Think it's awesome Olmstead was selected. Knew him since he was dominating in the BCPWFL. Great parents, great kid. Just have a strange feeling this list won't sit well with UKfan seeing how only 1 SK player selected lol

 

The only other SK player that I feel MAY have deserved an invite is Winkler at WR. He's had a hell of a career at SK. With that said I don't know much about the other WR's that were selected, I just know Winkler had over 700 yards receiving last year and should have right around 1000 this year. He's a good ball player.

Why are there so few kids from NKY that are participating in this game?

If you guys read the article, you'd see this team plays a Louisville based school all star team who has yet to be named...
