Another Police Shooting in St Louis

Featured Replies

My point has nothing to do with it being factual or not.

It's out there for the public to hear. The public will read into it anything they want to read into it. I posted it to answer the "no matter what ballistics say.." post above as to why some will NOT believe the police.

And it will always be there for them to hear because believe it or not there are...

a.) Some people willing to lie about what happened with police.

And.

B.) Some police willing to lie to cover things up.

My point has always been, why is it ok to lump all police together as criminals and always assume they are in the wrong? If someone does that with a race of people it is clearly racist...

Victim had felony gun charges on his record and was under house arrest and was supposed to be wearing an ankle monitor.

9mm Ruger found at the scene of the shooting.

Shell casings believed to be from the ruger also found at the scene according to the link I posted.

Now we're starting to see surveillance photos and people are already questioning the police.

Photo from a store shows the victim and a friend in the store at 7:03. They are wearing t-shirts. Police said when the victim attacked the police officer that a hoodie came off of the victim. There is no hoodie in the photo. He was dead 25 minutes after the photo was taken. What happened to the hoodie? Maybe nothing but, again, these discrepancies fuel the fire for those who are sure the police are lying.

I've read where some people think this Shaun King fella is quite the liar and a fraud. If you search his name shaun king fraud is the second choice on Twitter lol. Is it possible he tries to stir the pot some?

Also how long does it take to put on a hoody?

Let's not play "discredit the source." He didn't fudge the photos. He didn't say the victim was wearing a hoodie. Where was the hoodie if he put it on later? Did he keep it outside the store? If he had one why wouldn't he be carrying it? Those seem like the questions that would be asked in response to your point.

He is, though, a big critic of the police from what I gather on Twitter.

They found the owner of the gun that was found. The owner of the gun reported it stolen in September. He said he thought one of his own sons stole it. The son says it was stolen from him during a robbery but he didn't report the robbery to the police.

I'm not discrediting anything. I posted what I found on Twitter when looking for his name because your link want working for me. I think it is fair to let people know what's out there. It happens all the time here, I remember once in particular when I posted something from Twitter from a guy some here considered a nut. I'd never heard of him.

Regardless my point was is it not possible he will stir the pot in any way just to anger his followers and for attention? It takes 5 seconds to put on a hoody...why not wait and see what we find out. Seems like the police have been fairly open about what happened thus far.

If we remember back to the Aaron Hernandez case when they filed charges there were cameras everywhere along the streets. It allowed them to place Hernandez at various spots at certain times. My guess is there are cameras somewhere on the route he walked after leaving the store that will show him and what he was wearing.

However, again, unless we think he headed home first and then came back to the market area where do we suppose the hoodie was?

Well, that doesn't clear things up too much.

So, instead of bullets those were dill pickle slices being shot at the police?:idunno: Good lord. You'd think the witness could come up with something better than that.

Well, that doesn't clear things up too much.

:lol2:Not sure why but this made me laugh.

Maybe he ate it all before he was shot.

I'll have a roast beef on rye...big slice of tomato and onion...and oh yeah, hold the Glock.:sarcastic:

Witnesses said the kid did not have a gun. Police say they recovered s gun.

Authorities found the gun, which appeared to have jammed after firing at least three rounds, at the scene, police said. Three bullets that had been fired toward the officer were also recovered. One bullet was found in a vehicle behind the officer. Trajectories showed they had been fired downhill at the officer, police said.

Waiting for the investigation is always a good idea.
