I have to come back to this just one more time. How do you base the weakest team in a long time? The record this year doesn't support that comment.... so it must be based on how you feel about this team personally for some reason:no:

And as far as this year goes in my humble opinion, which I could care less what you think, we have have played one good team, yes we played the mustangs tuff, but they are the only team we have played that any of the top 5 1-A teams wouldn't beat.

Good mid season fodder, fortunately or unfortunately we will not know who may win or lose until both teams advance. And no matter what anyone on here thinks, that is a big if, injuries etc...may still play a huge role in what I think we all hope transpires....another game between Mayfield and Beechwood. Obviously I have a NKY bias, so my rooting interest goes to Beechwood as I think they have the best chance of beating Mayfield since the 2011 team. I just hope this matchup happens, I will be in the stands with some type of beverage to help keep me warm while rooting like crazy for the Tigers!

I'm with you snake. ..So Rookie, you are saying that Murray, Graves and PT would be guaranteed wins for anyone else? Did you actually watch all 3 of these games and are aware of those teams wins this year since Mayfield? Graves beat McCracken...PT beat Henderson Co and Murray dang near beat Mayfield...and those are guaranteed wins for any of the top 5 1A?............wow

Mt Healthy and Dixie both hang Ls on Mayfield, maybe Cov Cath. How do we know McCracken is any good? We heard last year how good they were, but they made a fairly early exit from playoffs if I remember correctly.

You're right. Despite the round two thrashing, McCracken is to be considered awesome b/c Mayfield fan says so, and their opinion matters more b/c Mayfield owns BW. And I stand my post. CCH maybe a stretch. Dixie? No doubter.

It matters because I know a good football team when I see one. McCracken has it's flaws as does Mayfield. Some NKY fans think that area plays the best football and while they play a good brand of competition up there, it's not necessarily the best. I can't really tell you exactly what I think of BW because I haven't seen them in person but I got a pretty good idea. I wouldn't expect Mayfield to come up there and run all over BW but I would expect a win if we play as capable.

I remember Beechwood making an early exit also.

I just get sick and tired of hearing the nky fans and others run that mouth about beating Mayfield. Every year is blah blah blah. And every year its Mayfield whooping that butt. So until your team can do it. Just keep your mouth shut.

Man, there's a lot of generalizing on here lately. Sure, Mayfield continuously beats BW, and I think it's more mental than anything for BW now, but not all NKY fans think BW would win every time... For example, I don't see how you can pick against Mayfield until BW shows they're capable of beating them. And let's not say every year. I do recall in 2005, NCC's 2nd-to-last year in 1A when they defeated Mayfield 42-7 in the state title game. It'll definitely be fun to see Mayfield and NCC play in the coming future in the playoffs.
