I respect the Tiger program and they've had some great teams in the past, but, they haven't had near the same teams the past 5 or so years and as much as some would love to call Mayfield a rival, fact is, consistent one-sided outcomes doesn't make for that great a rivalry.. With Mayfield going to 2a next year, better make the best out of this one last opportunity, otherwise it'll haunt you for the rest of your lives.. Even if Mayfield loses this year, 6-1 is still pretty dominant in my book, so, we have nothing to lose and another state title to gain..

I agree that Mayfield takes it...I just cant understand comments about weakest team yet and we are 1 point from being undefeated with an extremely tough schedule...where does that come from?

I am not sure I buy that. I will know better if I see Mayfield, but the team with the younger Guhy at QB his sophomore year (2011) is probably in the discussion. That team was carried by JJ on both sides of the ball IMO.

I'm just asking to quantify to weak team comment being one point in OT from an unbeaten record and the point totals thusfar nearly identical to ever other championship team of the last 4 years..it just doesn't jive.
