Athletically I have a hard time thinking anyone is better. That said I thought the same thing last year. They certainly had let downs after beating Trinity losing to Manual and Scott County both of whom they should have beaten IMHO. You could see after Male beat T in the playoffs that they thought they had just won state. Can they maintain the intensity to beat X and T back to back twice as they may have yo do again and not have a letdown again?

All Tell, you hit the nail on the head. They have the players to beat anyone. The question is can they maintain the focus and intensity necessary to run that gauntlet. After the first round of the playoffs, they will most likely face two Super District rematches or McCracken, then Scott County, and then most likely Simon Kenton. That is a month of grueling football where 1 or 2 mistakes can end the season. Plus, Male has struggled against power running teams in the past and it seams all three of their district opponents are leaning on a power run game. That being said, they can score with anyone and if the quarterback and receivers are dialed in, it's going to be tough to beat them.

I will Always root for Male as long as Alabama Larry's son is kicking, except when they play Trinity. I remember he even had a thought of sending him to Trinity.

Meade doesn't have the players to test them. However, St X, Trinity, and Manual will definitely test them.
