I don't even want to hear that SK is on Highlands level this year.

As of now you won't.

Give credit to SK kicker who hit a late 43 yd FG to tie it up.

That was the most clutch kick I have seen in high school ball. A 40 yd kick with 3min to go to tie it up. After a delay call no less.

Did Ryle use any time-outs on their final drive? The drive that led to the botched punt play resulting in SK possession with a few seconds left?

Ryle was playing to get to OT. They were inside the their own 30.

Ryle got the ball back with about 2:25 left in game. Looked like to me they were playing for overtime by running the ball. They called a timeout with 26 seconds left to avoid a delay of game and to punt the ball away and then thats when the punter hit the ground on about ryles own 15 giving the ball back to SK. You would have thought SK would have just kicked a field goal to win the game but instead they threw the ball on first down which should have been picked and then threw it again on second down resulting in a touchdown.

Did Powell play for SK?

Powell played, but not every series. I don't believe he is in game shape yet after his injury layoff.

In the little time I watched I was underwhelmed by the coaching.

For those who watched the whole game did SK run the majority of the time? If so did they struggle?

The game plan was definitively run heavy. Passes were short. I thought a couple of down field completions would have loosened up the running game, but this never happened. I got the sense that Racke was on a shorter leash this game.

Powell is a junior. He had no trouble against Cooper last week - was he re-injured??

Final.

SK back to earth. SK back to earth.

Did Powell play for SK?
yes he did

116 yds on 25 carries

SK back to earth. SK back to earth.

Dixie gets beat by Ryle. Dixie gets beat by Ryle.

And people said I was crazy when I said Campbell Co. will challenge SK. Any converts?

Dixie will beat Ryle.

No, convert here.

Lets remember people, anything can happen in a game. Simon Kenton's win may not have been as impressive as some were led to believe, the Highlands win was more impressive than some were led to believe, etc. As far as who's best between the two won't be known again due to not playing. Anything based outside of it is nothing but hypothetical; all else is opinion, including mine:thumb:.
