So is SK and Highlands playing next year? I for one hope that they are and can't wait to see this game. IMO it will put a lot of this chatter on BGP's to rest. You can compare playing this school and that school and we beat that school so that means we beat you. That's all just a load of .....well you know. I do like SK and have enjoyed watching them the last couple of years. However you are talking Highlands football and you must give credit where it is due. I love Northern Ky football and always pull for those teams in the state playoffs. Highlands has done that better than anyone else in this area. That is a fact! SK' s program has came along way over the years. Time to test the waters and see just how far they have come.

No disrespect to Ryle here because I kinda agree with you on the "emergence" comment. I think they will start to turn things around this year.

However, it sounds strange coming from a SK fan. Whenever we talk about scheduling tough, they ALWAYS bring up Ryle as an example and say "what has it done for Ryle", as if to say they schedule tough and still stink. Now because they played you tough and hand SK a gift, it's "the emergence of Ryle"? So do they stink or are they good now? And why? What's changed?

We're good now and were good before this game. New coach and new offense growing pains. We are all grown up now and ready for district play.

What team is running the new offense? The middle school, freshman, and jv all run the old Raider offense.

I did notice that last night at the Ryle/Cooper freshman game that Ryle was running the same old offense. It is working for them at the freshman level and Ryle has a very solid freshman group but I am just wondering how that prepares them for varsity football?

I may be way off base here but freshman football is about getting kids used to the program and implementing the varsity schemes and teaching the kids. They get experience running the varsity scheme and prepare for the next 3 years. Obviously you still want to win, but is winning at the freshman level worth not implementing the offense they will run the next 3 years?

Not bashing Ryle at all because like I said, it works and they are a very good team, just seems like they aren't preparing those kids for the future is all. Just a question and would love some feedback with someone familiar with the program

I've seen most of Ryles games. I wish them nothing but the best. But, you could show a tape of this years offense and last years and not tell any difference.

I like the running back at Ryle. Big, physical and not scared.
