Two shows added for Garth Brooks at Rupp!

Who wants to buy 2 tickets in Section 12, Row H for $300 a piece?

Heck, yeah. We can talk politics.

Maybe the only chance I'll get while living in the Commonwealth to be in a majority.

Stop by and pick me up and it'll be a solid majority. That could be too much fun!

We tried all morning to get tickets to Saturday, and no dice. Looks like we'll be going the Stubhub/Craigslist route.

You really think I wouldn't bring my backup BGPers? Woman, please....

Bought tickets to the Friday late show. I'll go see anyone who makes me think of my childhood. I'm nostalgic like that.

We got 6 for early Saturday...Parking for the late shows will be horrific...everything will be full from the first show unless you wait until the last minute.

Jeez this is going to be a traffic nightmare!

I'm definitely concerned about these logistics.

This has trouble written all over it. Have never heard of any artist doing two shows in one night at a venue the size of Rupp. This isn't Las Vegas. I mean you will have 25,000 trying to get out at the exact time another 25,000 is trying to get in. Any ideas?

I loathe country music...but my wife made me buy two tickets to the Friday 6:30 show and says I will be going with her. So...I will be going. I had no problems getting tix. I know many won't believe this but I know very few songs. My daughter-in law said you know "Unanswered Prayers". I You Tubed it and had never heard it in my life. I only know two songs "Friends in Low Places" which I hate, and "The Dance" which isn't too bad. Know I had not heard "Shameless" until tonight, also. Oh, I have heard "Tomorrow Never Comes", but I swear by someone else, but I don't know who.

Try 'Beaches of Cheyenne' & 'Callin' Baton Rouge'

Excellent point. Second show customers will grab some of the first show's spaces as well. If they are allowed.

Traffic will likely be manageable, not great but by Rupp standards it will be okay. Parking on the other hand, where exactly do you put five pounds of sand into a two pound bag?

I like country music, but not Garth. Went to his concert in Lex. at Rupp a few years ago. Unfortunately we sat literally in the rafters. We had been outside all day, and maybe we were a bit tired, but it was smoky and hot up where we were. People were smashed and falling all around and singing badly and loudly. I think we stayed for two maybe three songs and got the heck out of there. My wife had really looked forward to it, and it was a major disappointment.

This is probably for another thread, but I hate big concerts anyway. If I pay the money to see and hear a performer, I want to SEE and HEAR the performer not the drunk people behind and beside me. Why do people feel they have to sing at concerts?
