I don't know much about the rest of KY 6A other than Louisville. Lexington looks good with SC and Bryan Station, not sure about the rest. My guess, and it's only a guess, is that NKY is on par with everyone else outside those areas. I think CC, SK and Dixie would hold their own.

I disagree, I don't think any Lexington school would beat SK, Dixie or CC, or maybe just one Henry Clay. Having said that ALL 3 NKY teams should be in the top 12 -14 in 6A in the state. I think that's better then mediocre. JMO. I'm not saying any of these NKY schools can and are going to win state, but there better then average in the state in 6A.

Very much so, has been for several years. I don't think anyone has felt for awhile that the 6A team to come out of this area in the playoffs will have much of a shot at making any noise down state.

Who cares about any other class then 6A, that's what this thread is about 6A, not ALL schools.

The NKY 6A district as a whole is better than the Lexington group as a whole. Scott County is probably the best team of the bunch, with SK second. The Louisville district as a whole is better than the NKY district- the best NKY team (SK) would probably be 3rd or 4th in that group. You could argue either way but I believe the NKY district is better than the WKY district, putting McCracken and SK at the top and the remainder of NKY 6A ahead of the other teams in that WKY district.

Compared to the super district teams and Scott County, the rest of 6A is mediocre compared to the level of talent in those programs. Trailing those programs are McCraken County, Meade County and SK.

I don't think SK would take Bryan Station this year. Too much speed.

Considering there are only 32 6A teams in the state, where you rank them is outside the top 1/3 in the state. Still not mediocre? And we are talking NKY 6a as a whole, not just the decent 6a teams. If you are ranking the top nky 6A schools in below the top 1/3 in the state, what's that say when you add the other two?

I hate to say this, but I put SK on the same level as St X this year. I did see only Qtrs 2 and 3 of the St. X vs. SK scrimmage, but felt SK definitely moved the ball better than X during this time. I did miss the 1st Qtr where X scored. Only a scrimmage, but as an unbiased opinion, SK can compete with most of the ville this year
