Have a lot more thoughts, but the first glaring thing that jumps out at me is the bolded. None of the teams that everyone admits they have problems with were on their side. Yet they didn't even make it to Meade or McCracken, who most are saying SK would beat! How do we know?? Well they had their chance to prove that but couldn't make it past Butler, who got beat by Meade and you admitted Butler must have played in an awful district if they all got beat in the first round except Butler. You can't talk like you're good until you prove you're good. Is making it to the second round of the playoffs a great accomplishment? I mean every team makes the playoffs!!! Making to the second round when there are 0-10 teams in the playoffs is not really a great accomplishment, is it?

Consistently does not mean every year, but more often than not over a period of time. This wasn't the question and I could care less if the gap between 6A schools and lower divisions is closing. That really makes no sense when we are talking about KY 6A football.

 

And it's only gibberish because no one can come up with any justification. Not one argument on these 6 pages has changed my mind. In fact, most have solidified it. When you divert attention to HHS and Cov Cath in a 6A thread, that tells me all I need to know. When the best answer to "can the 6A schools compete with the 10 I listed this year" is "Well back in (4-5) years ago, I remember when this one team beat this other team, so that's the facts", then I have to believe we agree that they are mediocre. If wins against bad 6A teams at the time are the measuring points and they are few and far between over several years, why would we believe the hype that we are getting any better in 6A. Again, I'm not trying to be a villain or compare any of the teams to HHS or Cov Cath. I'm just pointing out what we see and the fact that we need to do more before anyone is going to really take note.

And to clear up "consistently"...when I say that, I mean that if the teams played 10 times, they would have to at least win 4 of those meetings. With this team, this year. Not 10 meetings over 10 years with 10 different sets of kids. You can't compare past outcomes with the makeup of current teams.

You must be bias, because NONE of them could beat Scott Co, nor Henry or Bryan Station. Only SK might beat Lafayette but not the other 2. SK is the top of the list in NKY and would be in the top 15 but the other two CC and Dixie are probably a step behind that.

 

Ryle scrimmaged Bryan Station. Scott County is on a different level than Station. All Bryan Station has is a QB. Just because they barely lost to Highlands doesnt mean they are good. Just because Lafayette barely lost to Scott County doesnt mean they are that good. NKY has traditionally handled Lexington 6A with the exception of Scott County. So I will say, NKY 6A is always behind Louisville but never behind Lexington.

Lost by 2 tds to X, Lost in a shootout to HHS and destroyed Lex Cath. Trust me, they are good. Way more than just a QB. Defense is lacking a little, but they have plenty of athletes.

I guess it's like other questions, we'll have to wait until the end of the year to see how different areas compare. Everyone is familiar with what Louisville puts on the field, it's the rest of the state that changes year to year and it sounds like there are several schools on the rise.
