I still don't know if they'll have enough to charge given, but she's seemingly caused most of the headaches she's dealing with right now and that's no one's fault but her own.

 

I'd said earlier in the thread that it's a dangerous game to go to the media if you are less than 100% inncoent of what you're claiming. I also said I woulnd't have much sympathy for her if she was lying.

I think someone came forwards with photos or cell phone video of the action going on in the car...that would seem to be good evidence of what was actually going on in the car.

If they left the scene that day without taking action and released the statements that they did at the time and didn't have something damning like that, there was no way those charges were ever going to stick.

 

She might have been sued in a civil case for defamation or something like that, but the liklihood of those charges sticking given wasn't very good.

I hope the charges stick and I hope she gets sued. She and her boyfriend seem like real...well because of BGP rules I'll just say jerks.

 

Not only did they make the entire ordeal bigger than it needed to be during the incident, they decided to take their lies to Facebook and try to make someone who did nothing wrong look bad.

I will say that I think going public is a dangerous game if you can't back up all of what you say, so if that's what she's done here and it turns out that she's lying, I won't have any sympathy for whatever comes her way afterward.

So funny how this turned around. When this thread was first created it was all about slamming and bashing the LAPD officers involved in this incident and there were so many so quick to condemn the officers. Then when the truth comes out.....crickets.

 

If I were one of the officers I would also sue her for slander.
