I had heard he offered to get the field and all expenses for BC. But the board wouldn't allow it because of the other schools were not included. I have absolutely no idea how true that is, but if that is the case, that is a poor decision. When the water goes up in the bay, all the ship rise with it? Meaning, if he was willing to take care of that expense, that would mean that the BOE could focus on the other schools instead of worrying about all of them. Again, most of you are much more informed about BC schools, but it was alarming to hear they turned down money of that amount. If true.

Back to Cooper vs. SK!

It doesn't matter what shape the field is in SK is going to be ready. A major concern was SK's defensive backs. So far they have done very well I believe they 3 ints.

Three total? Unimpressed....

And field conditions would absolutely be on the top of my mind if DP were my son.

He is fine and has to get his reps to get ready to sweep district again.

Looking forward to Friday night. A chance for each team to try and polish up some of there basic offensive and defensive schemes before the real season starts next week. I am sure both teams will use this game to try and sure up some things that they know will be key for them when they hit the district schedule next week. Here is to a good Friday night football game between two good teams and that both of them come away injury free and ready for next week!

I will be at the field extra early with hose in hand

That won't slow SK down! :D

Is Elliot Smith healthy for this game? My nephew played with him in Pee Wee.

He played a lot the NewCath game to get reps. He missed 2 games.

I was about to say those stats don't look right for him.

A muddy field will only make your guys look slower than they really are. Since when did you guys become Johnson Central?

Im gonna try to make it out to the game, who else is going?

Elliott Smith is out for the season. Ramey out for the season. Hicks out for the season. Parks and Sand out this week. Keller out for 4 weeks +/-. Not gonna be Cooper's best night - just hoping no one else gets injured.

Probably not the best idea to list Cooper's entire injury list on here...
