stick1 Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 With Reid Brown I think Lex Cath wins. Without him I think it will be tough. Lex Cath will have to play their best game to win this one. Scott Co is a slight favorite IMO. I also think this is the best two teams in the Region!
mcpapa Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I saw both play against Mason County, and both thumped the Royals. I was more impressed with the Cardinals, though - I think they were up at one point by something like 51-19. I seem to remember that the program handed out at the Scott Co-Mason Co game had Scott County's roster with only one senior. Is that correct?

Its kinda of scary they are very deep, talented and athletic for several years to come.
mysteryman2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 SC in a big game....They win by 9 in a semi-close game. The RED HEAT maybe too much.
sccards60 Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 This will be a great atmosphere at the Frankfort Civic Center. I can't wait!
Jim Schue Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 LexCath is never afraid of anyone, which plays into their favor regardless of how big an underdog they are. But they are a big underdog here, and I expect Scott Co. to win this one by 10+ because of too much talent.
rep Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Scott County wins going away. Coach Hicks is tournament tested that will be the difference.
strongopenyon Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I said Scott County will not win in their first year in the 11th Region and I am stubbornly sticking to that prediction. Although I do think they have superior talent, it is young talent and something tells me they stub their toe. Lexington Catholic by 3.
No I in TEAM Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Lexington Catholic will not roll over and will bring their best game, but I still believe talent and depth will prevail in the end. Scott County by 10+. It will be very entertaining.
